They are a work in progress, so no photos yet. But I am so excited to finish them! The disks are perfect for my projects and the best quality. They also came quickly and I didn't have to wait very long.

I especially like that they apply the protective adhesive on one side. It minimizes laser burn marks and it also serves to protect one side while I work on the opposite side. B.N.

Made a Navajo Spindle Using a Five-Inch Unfinished Blank with a Hole Lasered in the Center This is a Navajo Spindle I use to make yarn. From 24 Hour Craft, I ordered a five-inch unfinshed circular blank with a half inch-hole in the center. First, I sanded the rim of the disc to reduce the burnt smell which occurs from the lasering of the disc. Next, I used 1/2 inch diameter 36 inch oak dowel, which a wood craftsman sanded to the tapered shape at each end. Then I applied several coats of linseed oil to the dowel, sanding between each coat. Next using Elmer's glue, I slipped the disc nine inches from the bottom of the dowel and glued it on. It spins beautifully!
I love 24hrCrafts wood. It is never warped, it is ready to paint, never ant blemishes on it. I use their wood rounds for my mandala art. I get a small hole put in the center of my round to help with drawing guide lines, it does not cost anything extra.It is shipped fast I usually get my package in 3 to 4 days, but I live close to the warehouse. The customer service is excellant you have a problem it gets fixed right away. Wonderful company!

These wood rounds are perfect for my mandala art plaques. I have never gotten a warped or knotty piece. They even at no charge drill a hole in the middle of the round for me at no cost. My order is always shipped the next day unless it is a holiday or weekend. They have other awsome wood cut outs and now have etched wood pieces. 24 hour crafts is my go to place for anything wood!! I made a clock with the wood circle. I liked the it. It was the right size. However when drilling holes the wood split even with tape on it. Like plywood.

Perfectly cut little, lightweight, round piece. Stained and covered with chicken wire and glued to a center of a tulle "sunflower". It's going to look lovely as seating decor at a small event.
